About Us

Wanderlust Tours offers half-day and full-day tours for groups and individuals. Our tours include canoeing, kayaking, caving, volcano tours, GPS Eco-Challenges, snowshoeing, libation tours, and sightseeing in Central Oregon’s most beautiful, natural and remote areas. We also host a variety of special and custom events. Special Events include: Dinner Canoe under the Stars, Bonfire on the Snow, Crater Lake tours, and other custom tours. Wanderlust Tours' renowned, professional naturalist guides bring the experience alive for guests through vibrant interpretation of natural and cultural history.

Our Mission: Wanderlust Tours exists to inspire our guests and vibrantly share the natural and cultural history of Oregon in order to instill appreciation and protection of the environment.

Our Ethic: We hold great respect for the natural surroundings of our tours and hope to introduce people to delicate ecosystems while maintaining a low impact on the environment.

Current Openings

We have finished hiring Naturalist Guides for the 2024 summer season. If you are interested in a future Naturalist Guide position please review the job description and submit your resume.
Please note: some of these positions may be filled with returning staff members, who have a priority in hiring.

Our seasonal hiring process

- Winter -
Review of resumes & interviews:
October
Guide hiring: November | Guide training: December 1st
Guide season:
approximately December 1st to April 30th

- Summer -
Review of resumes & interviews:
March
Guide hiring: April | Guide training: May
Guide season: approximately June 1st to October 31st

When applying for a summer/seasonal position, please understand that we expect you to remain with us for the whole season. Due to the brevity of the season, we cannot accommodate vacations outside of the employee's scheduled days off. If you have other obligations before the end of the season, please let us know ahead of time.

Due to the large number of resumes we receive, we do not reply to each submission. It is our practice to keep all resumes on file for one year in case any positions become available. Please keep us informed if your contact information changes or if you would like for us to remove you from the list. If an opportunity arises, we will contact you for an interview at our office in Bend, OR.
