Mountain Lake Paddling Tour + Mountain Concert

Wanderlust Tours, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild, and Mt. Bachelor were proud to partner for a one of a kind day immersed in nature.

Hunter performed with a 9-foot, 1912 Steinway Grand piano perched at 8,100’ on the side of a volcano, with shimmering lakes and a carpet of forest stretching below. 

We started the day by adventuring our the Cascade Lakes Highway and kayaking a mountain lake. Then, arrived at Mt. Bachelor and enjoyed IN A LANDSCAPE a stunning piano concert at the edge of a stratovolcano, and finish the day with dinner served on the lofty perch of Mt. Bachelor.

This was an incredible event we’ll remember forever!

Wanderlust Tours is proud to present another exciting installment of the ongoing Art in Nature series.

Wanderlust Tours’ professional naturalist guides journeyed through the desert landscape, offering expert interpretation on the way to the private concert venue. This special piano concert experience took place on private land located high above the Summer Lake playa.

Here, Hunter performed on a 9-foot, 1912 Steinway grand piano under the open sky, while guests took in the 100-mile vistas overlooking the eastern Oregon landscape!
